TOMA Foundation

Since 2005, the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association Foundation (TOMA Foundation) has served as the philanthropic heart of the osteopathic medical profession. TOMA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to connecting the charitable concerns of physicians with the people of Texas. The foundation supports programs and services that promote osteopathic medicine and enhance patient-centered care. Contributions to the foundation benefit hundreds of osteopathic medical professionals through scholarships, grants and memorials to students, physicians and programs.

     

 

Gifts to TOMA Foundation may be:

  • Unrestricted - means that the contribution will be used at the director of the foundation board of trustees to support programs and/or foundation activities. Unrestricted contributions become part of TOMA Foundation's Unrestricted Fund.
  • Restricted - means that the donor has specified that the contribution
    • 1. Be used to support a particular program that the foundations wishes to fund
    • 2. Become part of a particular fund of the foundation.

TOMA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that adheres to the code of ethical principles and standards of professional practice set by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Your gift is a charitable contribution and is tax deductible in accordance with federal income tax law. Cash donations may be made to the TOMA Foundation by check or credit card. Gifts made through your will or contributions of securities or property also are welcomed.
